learn MoreAt Horsley Kids we are guided by the Australian Early Years Learning Framework, which recognises that children’s lives are characterised by belonging, being and becoming. Our education program is a continual process — documenting, analysing, planning and evaluating each individual child’s learning every single day.
Each room is alive with colour, texture and natural materials. Educators encourage children to participate, discover and investigate — using art, music, dramatic play and movement as languages for thinking and expression.
We welcome all children and families of all cultures, religions and backgrounds. Our educators are sensitive to and respectful of each family’s individual values — and we invite families to be active partners in their child’s learning journey.
Horsley Kids follows the Australian Early Years Learning Framework and is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of early childhood education. Our program is child-led, play-based and built around each child’s individual strengths, interests and developmental needs.
Families are active partners in the learning program at Horsley Kids. Educators collaborate with families through daily communication, mid-year parent and educator interviews, and personalised end-of-year portfolios that document each child’s learning journey throughout the year.
Yes. Horsley Kids welcomes families from all cultures, religions and backgrounds. Our team represents over 15 cultures and our educators speak Assyrian, Vietnamese, Lebanese, Italian, Chinese, Polish, Spanish, Croatian, Serbian, Maltese, Cambodian, Indian and Sri Lankan languages, among others. Cultural inclusivity is central to everything we do.
Words and photos only go so far. The best way to experience Horsley Kids is to walk through the door, meet our educators and see exactly what a day looks like for your child. Our purpose-built centre on The Horsley Drive in Horsley Park is open for family tours — and we are always happy to show families around.
Take a virtual tour from the comfort of your home first, then come and see it in person. We care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, 50 weeks of the year. Places are currently available.
