The choice of having an on-site kitchen at Horsley Kids is another positive characteristic of the centre. The highly qualified and experienced kitchen staff will prepare nutritious daily meals, following the balanced dietary guidelines. Our registered dietician has set the weekly menu plan, which is monitored on a regular basis.

The centre provides five (5) nutritious and tasty meals throughout the day.

The kitchen staff are available to discuss menus, suggestions and recipes. Menus are displayed for all to see. All menus will follow the Balanced Dietary Guidelines, which have been approved by our certified dietician. We only use the finest ingredients, such as: chemical-free chicken, fresh seasonal vegetables and fruit, organic pasta, organic pizza bases that are cooked on-site. All meats are minced onsite using only quality meats.

All notified food allergies, intolerances and religious requirements will be considered by staff in all meal preparations.

Meals provided:

  1. Breakfast
  2. Morning tea
  3. Lunch and dessert
  4. Afternoon tea
  5. Light supper

At Horsley Kids, we have carefully looked at what children require in their daily meal plan. What concerned us was the number of supermarket foods that contain preservatives and not knowing the true history behind the product; the way it was made and the ingredients used. For this reason, we try to make all foods in-house. We make all our pasta in house following our special organic wholemeal pasta recipe. This recipe makes our pasta easy for our children to digest without losing the goodness of carbohydrates.

What other parents say about us..

You have an amazing centre and a team who works hard at maintaining quality and you can clearly see that they all strive towards the common goal of providing all children with exceptional care and education.
