Horsley Kids, a purpose-built long day care centre established in 2020, is set on semi-rural land in Horsley Park, a quiet country-feel community with nature parks and local businesses within walking distance. Though the building is new, Horsley Kids has been servicing the Horsley Park community since 2005.
This well-appointed centre offers a warm, safe, and secure environment and includes high security, air-conditioning, large open rooms, and excellent resources. We have a dining room separate from the classrooms for all mealtimes, so no messy cleanups after each meal in the classroom, which is a bonus for educators and children.
Our centre follows a Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy, incorporating an emergent curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework. As an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), you will be responsible for programming, conducting observations, writing portfolios, and managing all day-to-day tasks within the classroom.
Horsley Kids is a high-quality centre, and the successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills to maintain our standards. A commitment to working collaboratively with a team, children, and families is essential. You will need to display professionalism, strong organisational skills, sensitivity, tact, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold:
A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
Whether you are a new graduate looking for a nurturing environment to begin your career or an experienced Early Childhood Teacher seeking a new challenge, this could be the role for you. We are looking for a shining star with the strength to lead, motivate, and manage staff within their role. A potential room leader position may be available, pending experience.

Mila cannot speak highly enough of all the teachers in the Bambini room, and every encounter I've had thus far with Sue, Renee, Sarah and Mariam have been wonderful. It's nice to know she has these lovely ladies looking out for her whilst she is under your care.
