Long day care and childcare in Horsley Park, near Wetherill Park and Fairfield

August 6th, 2026

If you are searching for long day care near Horsley Park, Wetherill Park or Fairfield, Horsley Kids is worth the short drive. We are a purpose-built early childhood centre at 1806 The Horsley Drive, Horsley Park, two minutes from the M7, caring for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Families have trusted us since 2005, and we hold an Exceeding rating under the National Quality Standard.

This page covers what local families most want to know: who we serve, how the location works for commuters, what is included, and how to visit.

A local centre, not a chain

Horsley Kids is privately owned and has been operated by the same family for over 20 years. That shows in the things chains find hard to copy: educators who stay for years and know every family by name, a team representing over 15 cultures and speaking the languages of the community, and five meals a day planned by a certified dietician and cooked fresh in our own kitchen. You can see everything a day includes on our early learning services page.

The centre itself was purpose built for early learning, with rooms opening onto gardens that hold a vegetable patch, pet chickens and a hive of native stingless bees. Five medical-grade HEPA air purifiers run throughout the building, and Horsley Kids is Sensitive Choice approved by the National Asthma Council of Australia, which matters to many local families whose children live with asthma or allergies.

Suburbs our families come from

Horsley Park sits at the meeting point of several western Sydney communities, so our families come from all directions. Many are from Wetherill Park, Bossley Park, Smithfield, Prairiewood and Fairfield to our east, others from Cecil Hills and Abbotsbury to the south, and a growing number from Kemps Creek, Mount Vernon and Eastern Creek as those areas develop. For families in the semi-rural pockets along The Horsley Drive, we are simply the local centre.

Wherever you are coming from, the roads work in your favour. The Horsley Drive connects directly to the M7, Wallgrove Road and Cowpasture Road, so drop-off rarely means fighting through school-zone traffic in the opposite direction to your commute.

Built for M7 commuters

If you commute along the M7 toward Eastern Creek, Norwest, the Aerotropolis precinct or the M4, Horsley Kids sits two minutes off the motorway. Drop your child with us at 7:30am when we open, join the M7 straight after, and collect them on the way home before 5:30pm. Many of our parents have run this exact routine for years, and it is one of the most common reasons new families tell us they chose the centre.

Next door to big school

Horsley Kids is co-located with Horsley Park Public School and Marion Catholic Primary School, both within metres of our front door. For local families, that means the eventual move to school happens in a neighbourhood your child already knows, often alongside friends from their room. Our school readiness program is woven through the whole curriculum from a child’s first day, so the transition is prepared for long before it arrives.

What is included in your enrolment

Every enrolment includes the full educational program guided by our Reggio Emilia inspired emergent curriculum, five fresh meals a day, nappies and sunscreen for our youngest children, and a personalised portfolio of your child’s learning at the end of each year. Horsley Kids is a CCS approved provider, so eligible families can use the Child Care Subsidy to reduce out-of-pocket fees.
